Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is well-known for her roles as a lead actress in countless television series, but also her impressive performances in film. The actress is popular on Canadian as well as American television. Emily first became interested when she saw her sister Katie doing a movie. Once she discovered her passion for acting, she began to take classes in acting and going to auditions. She began with some commercials however, she was eventually the role of a child actor on the Canadian television horror show Are You Scared of Darkness? She was only seen in only one scene and without dialogue. The WB television show Glory Days, she received her first big break at the age of 15. Emily's performance in Glory Days, a show on WB, which was canceled after nine episodes, attracted the attention of and landed Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Emily was an accomplished ballet dancer and photographer. Teen once named her among the best actors who were under twenty. Maxim's Hot 100 List of 2014 listed Emily as 51.
