Amy Lou Adams, full name Amy Lou Adams (born 20 August 1974 in Aviano Italy), American actress. Amy Lou Adams is famous as a naive character who are adorable and enjoyable. Adams was born to a U.S. Army officer in Italy and grew to be a resident of Castle Rock Colorado. The early 1990s were when Adams began performing and dancing professionally with Boulder's Dinner Theatre as well as the Country Dinner Playhouse. After that, she relocated to Minnesota and was made a part of Drop Dead Gorgeous, a mock documentarian film about beauty contests. After moving to Los Angeles, she pursued acting after her film debut, in where she played an uneasy but fun contestant. Her husband was actor Tony Curtis from June 1951 until September 1962, and was the mother of Kelly Curtis and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a deal with MGM and began her film career in the 1940s. In the decade that followed her appearances in many popular films including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up by Martin and Lewis (a 1954 film).
