April Lockhart
April Lockhart was born on July 4th, 1995. in seventh grade. She began playing guitar and taking piano lessons, sparking her love for music writing. When she was in seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano classes. It sparked her interest in songwriting. When she was 14 April devoted a great deal of time in making song lyrics and working on the music she was playing. Over the next few years, she took writing excursions with her father in LA and NY. April started to incorporate various other topics relevant to the"Take my Hand song for some acquaintances, including peer pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart works in partnerships at famous clean beauty brand Ilia and also is a lifestyle influencer with a huge following of her own. Her birth was without a left hand. It's part of her story, but it's hardly her whole story. Lockhart's Instagram profile doesn't hide her disability but doesn't just focus on the issue. It's a reminder. This is the message That we all carry multiple identities and are way more diverse than we think we are. Lockhart has stated on video that she does not want to be defined solely by her physical disability. She does not want to become a disability advocate who only talks about disability. There are a variety of aspects to Lockhart. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my everyday life. Everything is normal and I've learned to adjust. It's a big aspect of my existence, and it's imperative to discuss it. Her journey to self-acceptance is one that can last for a long time, and she can be a role model in this regard. However, she admits having moments when she felt uncomfortable with her appearance as well as wearing clothes that showed her arms. Nowadays, she dresses anything she likes and uploads photos in those outfits to social media, she is proud of herself. It's all a process is what I'm not certain that it will be an end about self-love. It's a fact that I see common to everyone regardless of what the source of their anxiety. It's my opinion that having those around you who really understand you and can see your heart is really important as they'll be the ones who will remind you what you concerned about?
