Julia O'Hara Stiles began acting when she was 11. After a series of stage, television and film appearances, she soon landed lead parts in classic teenage films. After being successful in support parts in films like The Cotton Club and Red Dawn Grey was a cult star after she portrayed Jeannie, the sister who is jealous in Ferris Bueller's Day Off alongside Matthew Broderick. Wind, Bloodhounds of Broadway, Bounce, Red Belt, among others, came later. Grey was a part of the cult sitcom It's Like You Know, created by Seinfeld producer Peter Mehlman.
