Zazie Beetz was born in 1991 was born in Berlin. Her father was an German Cabinet Maker, who emigrated to the United States following the fall of the Berlin Wall. The actress and dancer landed a breakout role in 2010, when she appeared alongside Bella Thorne as Rocky Blue on the TV show "Shake it up". Zendaya became a vegetarian at the age of 11 after she walked past a slaughterhouse while on the road with her father. PEOPLE stated that she had said: "I thought all those animals were horrible, being packed into there and waiting to be slaughtered. "I could not believe this was the way I'd obtained my food!" She has since stayed on an all-vegan diet.
