Katherine Heigl opens up to everyone on her "white bubble life" and how it has affected her parenting style for the children of her adoptive parents who are multiracial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actress Katherine Heigl revealed she was not concerned about her complexion until she came across her adopted sister who was from South Korea. "I asked Meg whether she felt that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than those who went out by herself. Meg responded "Oh I do, each and every occasion!" This made me realize I was so ignorant," Heigl said to her parents. She became enraged at the time, and chose to use that anger to assist her daughters who were adopted by her. Heigl shares a son of 4 years with Josh Kelley, her husband for the past 13 years. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter from South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in 2012.
